When we first opened this mask, our immediate reaction was just how good the quality felt. We genuinely weren’t expecting it to feel as substantial and durable as it did, and the overall presentation was a pleasant surprise too.

Once we had it in our hands, it reminded us of considerably more expensive LED masks we’ve seen in Australian retail stores — which made the quality particularly impressive for its price point.

We particularly liked the flexibility of the controller setup. With separate connections, you can use the face mask on its own or run the face and neck pieces together. The cord is also long enough to comfortably place the controller in a pocket while using the mask, which is a small detail we found surprisingly convenient.

In use, the mask feels secure once positioned correctly and the eye openings allow you to see while wearing it. However, we found visibility somewhat limited for moving around and completing tasks, so personally we’d be more inclined to use it while sitting back and relaxing.

Comfort is the one area we think will be particularly individual. We didn’t find it uncomfortable enough to stop using, but we were aware of the fit while wearing it. Face shape, positioning and individual sensitivity are all likely to affect how comfortable a wearable mask feels from person to person.

Our verdict: We were genuinely impressed by the quality of this mask when we opened it. It feels substantial and well made, the controller setup is practical, and the ability to use the face mask independently or together with the neck piece is a feature we genuinely appreciate. While fit and comfort will naturally vary between individuals, overall this one pleasantly surprised us.

The NIR LED Light Therapy Mask delivers a measured irradiance of 33.060 mW/cm², providing consistent light output across the treatment area while maintaining the comfort and flexibility of a wearable silicone mask.

Unlike larger light therapy panels, wearable masks are designed to balance effective light delivery with comfort, portability and full-face coverage. While panels may achieve higher irradiance due to their larger size and cooling capacity, masks offer the convenience of hands-free treatment and close contact with the skin.
